Sep 21, 2011The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is reviewing a proposal from Denmark which requests a ban on a combination of a number of phthalates under the REACH regulations. The proposal requests a restriction of four phthalates Bis (2-ethyl (hexyl) phthalate) (DEHP), Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP).
